Women's Health

Modern day women lead very different lives to women of previous generations. We are a busy people and life is fast.

So many women come into my clinic suffering from busy stressful lives and it shows on their bodies.

Constant stressors to the body affect its regulatory systems. Disruptions to these regulatory systems are often the cause of many modern-day diseases and can cause hormonal imbalances, autoimmunity and allergies, inflammatory conditions and problems with metabolism, reproductive and thyroid health . Imbalances in hormones are associated with infertility, PMS, menopause, irregular periods, missing cycles and more complex conditions like PCOS, and endometriosis. Symptoms such as PMS, heavy bleeding, cramps, pains, fatigue, moodiness and even menopause related issues do not need to be endured and can be relieved by paying attention to our bodies and what it is telling us.

Common Conditions treated using Chinese Medicine:

  • Menorrhagia (Heavy periods)

  • Hypomenorrhea ( Scanty or Light Periods )

  • Irregular cycles

    • Short cycles (<26 days)

    • Long cycles (>32 days)
